About The Position

This is a part-time (0.5 FTE) Elementary Music Teacher position. Non-instructional applicants for certain clerical positions must pass a Keyboarding Test meeting the required Words Per Minute (WPM). Finalists may be required to undergo background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) and the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse, with further instructions provided upon an official job offer.

  • Instructional applicants will be required to submit copies of Florida Educator’s Certificate, Statement of Eligibility, or Active/Valid Out-of-State Certification upon being offered a teaching position.
  • Official transcripts from all colleges or universities from which a degree was earned must be submitted.
  • Foreign education credentials must be evaluated by an agency approved by the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) with a course-by-course evaluation for college-level education.
  • Educational credentials must be from institutions accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
