Manages the property tax collection process for the Yellowstone County Treasurer’s office and directs work in accordance with State statutes. This role involves planning, organizing, directing, supervising, and coordinating the clerical operations and activities of the Tax Department. The Tax Supervisor will also recruit, train, schedule, prioritize, and evaluate the work of employees in the class of Tax Specialist Assistant. They will collaborate with the Treasurer and Cash Management Supervisor to develop employee expectations and office policies and procedures. Additionally, the supervisor will confer with the Treasurer to determine administrative and technical support needs for the Tax Department and review state statutes to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations in reconciling and processing Tax Department transactions and publishing legal notices.
