Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
CPA Candidate required
5–7+ years of public accounting experience in tax
Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
Experience supervising and developing staff in a team environment
Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to build relationships with clients and team members

Nice To Haves

CPA License
Experience with CCH Prosystems tax software, Engagement and Document a plus

Responsibilities

Review complex individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance
Supervise multiple tax engagements simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met
Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to tax staff and seniors
Identify, research, and resolve complex tax issues and communicate findings clearly to leadership and clients
Manage client relationships and serve as a primary point of contact for assigned engagements
Assist with tax planning and advisory services for a variety of industries
Assist the audit department with tax related matters
Review workpapers and ensure compliance with firm policies and quality control standards
Support business development activities, including client proposals and relationship building
Stay current on tax regulations and industry developments
