About The Position

This is an entry-level, full-time position for a Tax Staff at the Nashville SBC Office in Nashville, TN. The salary range is $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year, with negligible travel. The role falls under the Accounting job category.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in accounting or other related program.
• At least two-years successful experience preparing tax returns (S-Corp, C-Corp, 990’s)
• A basic understanding of tax law
• Successful experience within public accounting
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office
• Adaptability
• Prioritizing and being accountable for multiple tasks
• Take appropriate actions without being asked
• Ability to meet strict deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Prefer candidate to have a goal of obtaining CPA license in foreseeable future

Responsibilities

• Preparing individual, partnership, corporate, and exempt tax returns
• Working as a team member on tax engagements
• Interact successfully with clients & other employees
