About The Position

Wolf & Company is looking for dynamic entry-level Tax Staff to join our growing and well-established national firm. As a tax professional at Wolf & Company you will focus on operating flow-through entities and gain the technical knowledge and experience you need to help clients manage their tax obligations effectively and enhance their financial performance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Accounting
Tax internship or 1 year of experience in public accounting
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Demonstrated leadership and relationship skills
Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees

Responsibilities

Preparation of partnership and S Corporation income tax returns
Preparation of partnership withholding forms including Forms 1042 and Form 8804
Preparation of partnership capital accounts and allocations
Participates in tax planning project
Utilizes and develops a basic understanding of various tax programs and tax software
Works with confidential client matters
Works as part of a multi-disciplinary team helping to provide industry knowledge and experience
Conducts tax research related to federal and state income taxes
Builds and manages client relationships
Performs other tax special project work
