We're seeking an experienced Tax Senior to prepare and review complex tax engagements while working closely with Managers and Partners to deliver exceptional client service. You'll gain meaningful exposure to tax planning, advisory services, and direct client interaction while mentoring junior staff and building the skills needed to advance into a leadership role. This position offers the opportunity to deepen your technical expertise, strengthen client relationships, and develop into a trusted advisor who helps clients navigate complex tax matters and achieve their financial goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 3–5 years of progressive public accounting tax experience
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax compliance
  • Experience preparing and reviewing complex individual and business tax returns
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A collaborative, growth-oriented mindset with an interest in advisory services and professional development
  • Proficiency with tax preparation software, Microsoft Office, and technology tools

Nice To Haves

  • Master's in Taxation or related field
  • CPA license or active progress toward CPA certification
  • Experience mentoring junior staff

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review complex individual, partnership, S corporation, C corporation, trust, and other business tax returns
  • Assist with tax planning projects and research complex tax issues
  • Communicate directly with clients to gather information, answer questions, and provide responsive service
  • Identify tax-saving opportunities and practical planning recommendations for review by Managers and Partners
  • Participate in client meetings and develop your advisory and consulting skills
  • Mentor and review the work of junior tax staff
  • Stay current on federal, state, and local tax legislation and emerging developments
  • Utilize technology and process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
