Regarded as a Subject Matter Expert within the business unit and shares knowledge. Makes recommendations on internal department procedures. Recognizes business opportunities for our clients and for CBIZ. Assumes significant client responsibility as the client's trusted advisor, is relied upon for knowledge of industry trends, identifies client issues and conflicts; proactively communicates solution options to the client and team. Manages staff on engagement deliverables (such as financial statements, tax returns, work papers, etc.); completes technical and strategic reviews as a member of the final engagement review team to ensure quality control standards are met. Responsible for new client development in partnership with upper management; participates in client meetings, presentation and proposal development and meets individual cross-serve goals. Responsible for billing and realization on assigned clients; develops overall engagement budget, explains variances. Understands client's Qualified Plan needs (as applicable). Supervises, trains and mentors staff; listens and communicates effectively. Works to develop responsible, trained staff by conducting performance feedback and evaluations. Drives a team environment; demonstrates support of management decisions and builds a positive culture. Additional responsibilities as assigned.
