About The Position

As a Tax Senior, you will manage a portfolio of corporate and partnership clients, serving as the primary point of contact for client requests and ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards. You will also prepare and review complex tax returns, including consolidations and international forms, and stay current on U.S. federal and international tax developments. Additionally, you will mentor and train junior team members, contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in tax, with a strong foundation in either International Taxation or Business/Corporate Tax
  • Hands-on experience in a mid-size CPA firm with an international client base — comparable to BDO, Grant Thornton, or similar
  • Solid technical knowledge of U.S. corporate and partnership tax compliance
  • Experience preparing or reviewing international tax forms (5472, 5471, 8865, 8858, 1042-S, FinCEN 114)
  • Strong time management skills — able to meet deadlines or proactively communicate when challenges arise
  • High standards of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive client information
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of corporate and partnership clients with revenues from $0 to $100M across industries including Tech, Pharma, Consumer Products, and international businesses
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client requests, ensuring deadlines are met and all deliverables meet Orbiss quality standards
  • Work directly with the Director on complex and high-risk client engagements
  • Prepare and review complex tax returns, including consolidations and international forms: 5472, 5471, 8865, 8858, 1042-S, FinCEN 114
  • Conduct first-level review of returns prepared by junior staff, providing clear and actionable feedback
  • Stay current on U.S. federal and international tax developments relevant to cross-border structures
  • Mentor and train junior team members, supporting their technical development through hands-on guidance and feedback
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment and Orbiss's culture of high standards and continuous improvement
