About The Position

Belltower Funds, a division of AngelList, is seeking a Tax Senior Associate (Institutional) to prepare and review tax compliance for institutional fund clients. The role focuses on partnership tax preparation for institutional venture capital and private equity funds, using trial balances, partner rosters, and allocation schedules to deliver accurate tax returns and Schedules K-1 to institutional GPs and LPs. The Senior Associate will collaborate with tax team members, Engineering, and fund accounting to develop and improve institutional tax workflows. For most roles on those teams, employees work from the office at least two days per week, on Tuesdays and either Wednesday or Thursday. Compensation starts at $130,000 annually, plus benefits and equity; the amount varies based on factors including professional background, experience, level, and location. Additional Total Rewards details are provided during recruitment.
