Position Summary: Your Impact (Essential Duties): Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and consolidated tax returns Review associates’ and interns’ tax returns, providing constructive feedback to ensure quality and support growth Perform and review quarterly and annual accounting procedures to prepare financial records for tax purposes Identify organizational structures and related entities for tax implications and big-picture impacts Ensure accurate and complete data for filings, identifying and communicating missing information Calculate quarterly and annual estimated tax liabilities accurately Conduct tax planning to identify opportunities for improvement and added value for clients Research and resolve complex tax issues, providing guidance and recommendations Communicate effectively with team members and clients, providing updates and addressing questions Supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns to enhance team performance and skill development Contribute to team efforts by assisting with projects and engaging in collaborative problem-solving Stay updated on tax laws and best practices through ongoing training and independent learning Manage engagements efficiently, meeting deadlines, particularly during high-demand periods Perform other duties and displays flexibility to take on a variety of responsibilities assigned by firm leadership Meet annual billable hour and other targets to fulfill individual performance and overall firm productivity
