We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Tax Senior Associate to join the team in our Boston office. CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week. This position will support our Real Estate Industry Group and more specifically, the Commercial Real Estate team. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive tax experience
  • Proven technical skills with MS Office to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Competence with tax compliance and research software to include CCH Axcess, BNA portfolio and projection, RIA Checkpoint
  • Solid project management and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's in Accounting/Taxation preferred
  • CPA, JD or EA preferred
  • Real Estate industry experience preferred
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships

Responsibilities

  • Partnership tax compliance, tax research and tax planning
  • Work with a team to meet various department deadlines throughout the year
  • Assist with the process and review of 1065 tax returns
  • Gain the respect and confidence of the CohnReznick team through effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear and concise direction and leadership.
  • Other Ad Hoc projects as needed
