Requirements

4-year degree required
Eligibility to obtain CPA, Law License, or Enrolled Agent required
Three (3) years of experience providing tax compliance and consulting services
Demonstrated skills in time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving
Strong leadership, project management, organizational and analytical skills, initiative, adaptability
Microsoft Suite skills
Highly developed software and Microsoft Suite skills
Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred

Nice To Haves

Experience with tax compliance for individuals and flow-throughs in the private wealth space preferred

Responsibilities

Provide various tax compliance and consulting services to industry-specific clients.
Offer tax compliance and advisory services to S-corporations, partnerships, and private wealth individuals.
Participate in tax research projects on a variety of tax issues.
Assist in drafting IRS responses and addressing tax authority inquiries.
Team with leaders on special projects in various areas of tax.
Develop recommendations for clients and discuss/strategize with leadership.
Communicate and team with specialty tax practices on complex tax matters.
Network and build strong relationships internally and with clients.
Support the growth and development of team members through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy.
