Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, or related discipline
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in US tax consulting/compliance within public accounting
Nice To Haves
- Master’s Degree in Taxation
- CPA or equivalent credential
- Experience with a wide variety of entity types
Responsibilities
- Preparation and review tax returns as it relates to high-net-worth individuals, primarily their personal income tax return as well as their closely held businesses, trust, estate, and gift tax returns
- Conduct tax research into industry and government developments as it relates to wealth planning opportunities and strive to maintain up-to-date tax knowledge
- Identify key planning opportunities throughout the year and develop a framework for tax strategies that best align with client needs and goals
- Assist in identifying and promoting the development of new delivery capabilities and/or channels to satisfy evolving market requirements
- Support the partner team in the development and planning of practice strategy, objectives, and budgets
- Build on strong coaching skills to mentor key talent
