Tax Reporting Specialist - St Petersburg, FL
About The Position
As a tax reporting specialist in our Corporate Tax team, you'll support the company's unclaimed property (escheatment) compliance efforts. In this role, you’ll research, analyze, and report outstanding payments in accordance with state regulations. You'll analyze data from multiple sources, investigate payment activity, identify reporting requirements, and partner with internal teams to support accurate regulatory filings. You'll also respond to external customer inquiries, providing exceptional service while researching and resolving questions related to unclaimed property and outstanding payments.
Requirements
- High School diploma/GED equivalent or higher
- A minimum of 2 years financial reporting work experience
Nice To Haves
- Experience with escheatment (unclaimed property) reporting and compliance
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail skills
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Ability to operate a letter opener machine and move full mail bins
