About The Position
Career Staffing Talent is retained by a top-tier national public accounting firm to build out the tax leadership of its growing Nashville office. This is a seat for an established Principal who wants a stronger national platform behind them, or for a high-performing Tax Senior Manager with the client relationships and business-development instincts to move into ownership-track leadership now rather than in three years.
Requirements
- Active CPA license (non-negotiable)
- 8+ years of progressive public accounting tax experience
- Demonstrated business development: named relationships, referral sources, or a portable book
- Track record managing and developing tax staff through busy season
- Ability to work fully on-site in Nashville
Responsibilities
- A diverse portfolio of complex tax compliance and consulting engagements across high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, and closely held corporate clients
- Primary strategic advisor role with your clients, with real authority over the relationship
- Business development and market expansion across Middle Tennessee
- Review of complex federal, state, and local returns and overall technical quality
- Mentorship and development of a tax team, with direct input on hiring and structure
