About The Position

Golden Reserve is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tax Preparer to join our team in Dublin, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and filing accurate tax returns for our clients, ensuring compliance with all applicable federal and state tax laws, and delivering a high standard of service that reflects our firm's commitment to client care. Golden Reserve is a full-service RIA and insurance firm, that built our company trying to not just change the financial industry for the retirees we serve – but for the team of financial professionals we hire. In a short period of time, we have grown to 40+ offices covering 9 states and just getting started. As part of our comprehensive retirement services – our clients receive tax planning direction regarding their qualified tax accounts, and preparation of their annual tax returns. This role will manage the tax preparation of annual returns, assist with ongoing real-time tax support, partake in event participation and the coordinate the development and expansion of this department. Requirements

Five (5)+ Years of tax preparation, accounting and tax planning experience
Proficiency with tax preparation software (Drake, UltraTax, or similar)
Communication Excellence – managing and inspiring a team and our clients require a world class communicator internally and externally
Management – you will be asked to lead a multi-location team to drive process while maintaining and managing a growth culture with constant change

Responsibilities

Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals
Review financial records, income statements, and documentation to ensure accuracy
Identify tax credits, deductions, and strategies that benefit clients
Communicate clearly with clients to gather necessary information and explain outcomes
Stay current on changes to tax laws and regulations
Maintain organized and confidential client records
Collaborate with internal team members as needed
