About The Position
Jackson Hewitt is hiring seasonal, entry-level Tax Preparers. No prior tax experience is needed; the company provides free tax preparation training and ongoing support. Tax Preparers meet with clients, conduct tax interviews, prepare accurate tax returns using proprietary software, and provide exceptional customer service. The role offers hourly wages plus bonus opportunities, and seasonal part-time and full-time schedules may be available. A valid IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) is required before preparing returns; Jackson Hewitt will help with the application process.
Requirements
- Friendly attitude and strong customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
- Dependable, organized, and eager to learn.
- Ability to complete required tax preparation training.
- A valid IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) is required before preparing returns.
