About The Position
Jackson Hewitt is hiring an entry-level seasonal Tax Preparer. No prior tax experience is required; the employer provides free tax preparation training and ongoing support. Tax Preparers meet with clients, conduct tax interviews, prepare accurate tax returns using proprietary software, and provide exceptional customer service. The position offers part-time or full-time seasonal scheduling, hourly pay plus bonus opportunities, and the potential to return in future tax seasons or grow into other roles. A valid IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) is required before preparing returns, and the employer will help with the application process.
