Tax Preparer (Remote)
About The Position
KSA Tax Partners, LLC, a woman-owned, fully virtual accounting firm, is hiring a Tax Preparer to provide tax preparation services and support women-owned businesses. The firm offers year-round client service and limits its client base, aiming to provide a consistent work environment and work-life balance. The role involves preparing returns, managing financial records, assisting with new-client onboarding, and collaborating with the bookkeeping team. Applicants are accepted from TN, NC, OH, FL, AL, IA, IL, TX, OR, OK, MA, and VT. The schedule is five days per week during core hours of 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Eastern Time, with flexibility during slower periods. Compensation is $15–$25 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
- Prior experience in tax preparation, particularly with LLCs and S Corporations.
- Strong experience with ProConnect, QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Word, and the Microsoft Suite.
- Availability five days per week during core hours of 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Eastern Time.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate tax returns for LLCs and S Corporations in compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Collect, organize, and enter financial data into tax software, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with onboarding new clients and establishing a strong initial relationship.
- Collaborate with the bookkeeping team to support accurate financial reporting and seamless tax preparation.
