Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 7+ years of progressive tax experience, including recent public accounting experience
- Active CPA license required
- Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax compliance and planning
- Experience reviewing complex individual and business tax returns
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple engagements, deadlines, and client relationships
- Experience supervising, mentoring, and developing team members
- Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, and tax preparation software
- Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- master’s degree in Taxation or a related field is a plus
Responsibilities
- Ownership of individual, partnership, S corporation, C corporation, and other business tax engagements
- Direct responsibility for managing client relationships and providing proactive tax guidance
- Exposure to multi-state and international tax matters
