About The Position

Our client, a rapidly growing Wealth Management Firm in Flagstaff, AZ, is expanding its services to include Tax Preparation for their clients. This firm is seeking an experienced Tax Practice Manager to lead this new area, focusing on client relationships, tax strategy, and efficient practice management.

Requirements

• CPA required
• Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years in tax preparation, including complex returns for families and business clients.
• Proficient in tax technology and software
• Strong communication, analytical, and project management abilities.

Nice To Haves

• Master in taxation a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct client consultations, manage onboarding, and provide strategic tax advice.
• Oversee individual (1040), trust (1041), partnership (1065), and S-Corp (1120S) filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Standardize workflows, leverage technology to improve processes, and enhance client experience.
• Provide monthly training for advisory staff on tax strategies and tax law updates.
• Offer hourly bookkeeping and reconciliation services to support clients' financial records.
