About The Position

RSM’s Private Equity Portfolio Company practice serves partnership and corporate companies, most of which are owned by private equity funds. This role is on the Corporate Tax team, which advises clients on tax strategy and compliance using industry and technical expertise and cross-functional collaboration, particularly with the Financial Services team. The team supports clients through M&A transactions and capital account analysis and delivers digitally enabled services using tax technology. As a Tax Manager, you will provide corporate tax compliance and consulting services. You will review tax workpapers and returns, advise clients on corporate tax matters, manage client needs, and help develop solutions to tax issues. The role may include people leadership, staff development, business development, and maintaining strong client relationships. The position follows RSM’s generally hybrid workstyle: employees are aligned to an RSM office and meet in person when it supports clients, teams, development, or relationship-building. Some roles may be virtual or primarily onsite depending on role requirements, team priorities, and client needs.
