About The Position
A successful, privately held CPA firm is seeking an experienced and strategic Tax Manager. This role involves overseeing tax engagements and leading a team of professionals. The firm continues to expand and needs leadership to support increasing client demand. The Tax Manager will lead complex tax projects, mentor staff, and serve as a key contact for client relationships. This is a collaborative, family-led firm offering generous PTO, benefits, and long-term stability.
Requirements
- CPA license required
- 6+ years of tax experience in public accounting
- Strong leadership, technical, and client management skills
- Must live within commuting distance of the firm’s offices
Responsibilities
- Manage and review tax engagements for individuals and businesses
- Supervise and develop tax team members
- Support firm leadership with planning and advisory
- Ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance
