Role We are looking for a Tax Manager to join our team. This is a Hybrid role reporting to the Senior Tax Manager in the Tax department. The general and administrative teams support and scale the company by providing a strong foundation for growth, including financial and legal operations. The Tax Manager will play a critical role within this team as an individual contributor, taking true ownership, working independently, and contributing deep expertise to support the company's financial integrity and compliance as the world's cloud security leader.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of combined experience in Big 4 public accounting and corporate tax roles
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Proficiency in tax accounting and compliance with deep knowledge of ASC 740 and SOX controls
  • Proven experience conducting comprehensive tax research and creating insightful analysis

Nice To Haves

  • CPA license
  • Comfort and experience using generative AI tools to streamline research, data analysis, and operational tax workflows

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ASC 740 income tax provision for interim and annual SEC filings (10-K/10-Q)
  • Collaborate with the broader finance organization to ensure tax transactions and legislation changes are documented and accounted for under ASC 740
  • Manage the SOX control process and external financial statement audit for income tax provisions
  • Assist in preparing the federal, state, and local income tax workpapers and review returns from external advisors, including quarterly estimated tax payments
  • Drive automation initiatives to increase the efficiency of tax accounting processes and provide support for various company-wide financial system related projects
