We're partnering with a well-established public accounting firm seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional looking for a stable firm, a collaborative office environment, and the opportunity to work with a diverse client base across multiple industries.
Requirements
- Active CPA license required
- 6+ years of recent public accounting tax experience
- Strong tax review experience
- Experience with 1040, 1065, 1120S, and 1041 returns
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong client-facing experience
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Nice To Haves
- Experience with GoSystem Tax (Fast Tax) is a plus
Responsibilities
- Review and supervise the preparation of tax returns for: Individuals (1040) Partnerships (1065) S Corporations (1120S) Trusts & Estates (1041)
- Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Mentor and develop staff
- Review work for accuracy and ensure timely completion of engagements
- Work directly with partners on client strategy and planning opportunities
