About The Position
Workforce Solutions is partnering with a rapidly growing CPA firm in Florida to find Tax Managers for their Boca Raton or Miami offices. These are onsite roles with a fantastic relocation package offered for those not living nearby. Tax Managers are crucial to the business tax team, responsible for managing client relationships and ensuring the timely delivery of annual tax products and monthly financial work. This involves reviewing and preparing payroll, tax, and business records and reports, as well as corporate and individual tax returns. A key aspect of the role is building and strengthening client relationships, demonstrating a solid understanding of their businesses, and providing recommendations for their financial or tax needs.
Requirements
- 6+ years in a similar role within a public accounting firm.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting highly desired or equivalent work experience.
- CPA certification is highly desired or ability to attain.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing and preparing payroll, tax, and business records and reports.
- Reviewing and preparing corporate and individual tax returns.
- Building new and strengthening existing client relationships while demonstrating basic knowledge of clients' businesses.
- Communicating and meeting with clients as requested; providing recommendations to assist clients with financial or tax needs.
