Managers in our Private Client Services (PCS) practice oversee multiple engagement teams for a wide range of sophisticated clients, which may include some of the Wealthiest Families in the US, Family Offices, Owner Operated Business Entities, Alternative Investment Fund Principals, Trusts and Estates. Managers can expect to maintain communication with clients to ensure satisfaction, meet deadlines, remain current on legislative changes, and lead change effectively. They will conduct primary and secondary review of complex tax returns – including federal and state filings, draft technical tax memoranda, and assist with tax audits and notices, including preparation of responses for IDR requests. Managers will manage resources and coordinate for scheduling needs, demonstrating strong ownership and commitment to our people and clients. They will supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate Intern, Associate and Senior Associates. Additionally, they will receive formal PCS and on the job training in daily interactions with top tax leaders to learn more about legislative changes, wealth transfer techniques, charitable giving strategies, and buy/sell agreement planning. Managers will also engage in business development activities such as preparing proposals, presenting in webinars, and collaborating with other service lines to present a comprehensive tax strategy to prospective and current clients.
