About The Position

EisnerAmper is seeking a Tax Manager to join the Private Client Services (PCS) practice. This role requires an individual who can efficiently oversee multiple client engagements, demonstrate proficiency in business development, marketing, and recruitment, and possess strong leadership skills to foster staff professional growth. The position offers flexibility with a hybrid working model and multiple office locations. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent field.
  • 7+ years of progressive tax experience providing tax compliance and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals.
  • 5+ years of tax compliance, with specialization in complex technical individual and business tax matters.
  • Recent Public Accounting experience.
  • CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent Certification required.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in Taxation or relevant field.
  • Experience acquiring new clients and growing a book of business.
  • Experience using GoSystems or CCH Axcess tax software.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team, foster strong client relationships, prospect, and contribute to sustainable business development.
  • Collaborate closely with Partners in an entrepreneurial environment valuing client service and tax expertise.
  • Oversee tax planning and compliance for ultra-high net worth individuals and families, with a focus on financial services clients (hedge funds, private equity).
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of hedge fund K-1 treatment and a working understanding of trusts, estates, gifts, and charitable entities.
  • Engage directly with clients to deliver tax planning, consulting, and compliance solutions.
  • Perform primary review of complex tax returns and maintain regular client communication.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with clients, staff, and external vendors.
  • Provide training and supervision to staff, including reviewing their work.
  • Perform occasional local travel to clients' locations.
  • Actively solicit new client relationships and participate in client/potential client seminars.
  • Stay updated on tax law changes and apply new knowledge to client engagements.
  • Collaborate with other tax professionals within the firm.
  • Hold self and direct reports accountable for achieving developmental goals.
