About The Position

CLA is seeking a Tax Manager or Director to support its tax practice. The role involves advising clients on business processes, including succession and tax planning; leading tax engagements; and reviewing complex individual and corporate tax returns. The successful candidate will perform tax procedures appropriate to each engagement’s size and complexity, develop and train team members, and help create opportunities for clients, communities, and colleagues. The role also includes building industry expertise and attending industry events and training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Six years of relevant experience.
• CPA certification required; an EA or JD may be accepted in lieu of CPA certification.
• Ability to identify and solve issues and confidently bring forward solutions.
• Interest in helping clients succeed strategically.
• Experience in a tax role with public accounting and/or a professional services firm is preferred.
