Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
  • Active CPA license required
  • 4–6+ years of public accounting tax experience
  • Experience serving high-net-worth individuals and privately held businesses preferred
  • Strong technical tax knowledge including individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary taxation
  • Experience reviewing returns and managing client engagements
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and project-management abilities
  • Commitment to client service excellence and professional development

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex tax planning and compliance engagements for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and closely held businesses
  • Review tax returns and related work prepared by staff and senior professionals
  • Develop proactive strategies designed to minimize tax liabilities and maximize client outcomes
  • Research and interpret emerging tax legislation and communicate planning opportunities
  • Assist clients with succession planning, wealth preservation, and long-term business strategies
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to key client relationships
  • Meet regularly with clients to understand evolving needs and objectives
  • Deliver exceptional client service through responsiveness, expertise, and strategic guidance
  • Identify opportunities to expand services and strengthen client relationships
  • Mentor, train, and develop senior staff, staff accountants, and interns
  • Review work and provide constructive feedback
  • Assist with workflow management, quality control, and engagement profitability
  • Foster a collaborative culture focused on professional growth and client success
  • Participate in networking and business development activities
  • Represent the firm within the business and professional community
  • Develop referral relationships with attorneys, bankers, financial advisors, and other professionals
  • Identify opportunities for new business and expanded client services
