About The Position

They are seeking a Tax Lawyer with strong expertise in taxation and a solid legal background. This role will primarily focus on tax matters, with potential involvement in general legal issues across the business. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing complex tax structures and providing practical legal support in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in a tax advisory role within Big 4 or a reputable law firm
Law degree
Fluent English (both written and spoken)
Strong analytical thinking and ability to handle complex tax and legal matters
Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to think outside the box

Nice To Haves

Experience in structuring transactions for companies operating under FSIE and similar regimes
Strong understanding of OECD Model Tax Convention commentary and related items

Responsibilities

Analyze and optimize tax implications, including CIT, WHT, PIT, gambling tax, and indirect taxes
Tax structuring of local and cross-border transactions
Collaborate with finance, legal, and regulatory teams to address tax-related matters
Manage relationships with external tax and legal advisors, ensuring high-quality support within budget
Support tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities
Monitor legislative changes in international taxation and assess their practical impact on the business
