About The Position

CarlsonSV is currently seeking students who want to learn and develop their business/individual tax and accounting skills. We have an excellent internship program where you will assist our experienced and talented tax team with preparing tax returns, conducting research and organizing financial documents to support the tax team with compliance and reporting. The internship position will be in office and can be located in any of our following office locations: Amery or Osceola, WI, New Ulm or Minneapolis (Plymouth), MN. CarlsonSV is a growing firm providing various accounting and audit services to clients in the Midwest and beyond. Requirements

Working towards a bachelor's degree in accounting
Interested in seeking CPA certification upon graduation
GPA of 3.0 or higher
Prior to start, will have completed the basic income tax coursework
Proactively demonstrate a willingness to learn and attain greater knowledge
Analytical and can logically work through challenges when given the tools to succeed

Responsibilities

Assist experienced and talented tax team with preparing tax returns
Conduct research
Organize financial documents to support the tax team with compliance and reporting
Work on a variety of projects that make an impact
