About The Position

The Tax internship is for Summer 2027 and provides exposure to different areas of Tax, including tax return preparation, tax planning, research projects, and tax projections. Interns are given responsibilities and experiences similar to a first-year staff member.

Requirements

Working towards undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting with a GPA if 3.2 or higher (junior, senior, or masters student)
Basic knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles is required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence
Must be able to work 40 hours a week

Responsibilities

Demonstrate knowledge of accounting and auditing standards/theory
Accurately and efficiently prepare tax returns and utilize feedback to prevent from repeating errors
Prepare income tax projections and estimate calculations for clients
Conduct research, analysis, development and summarization of financial information
Analyze accounting records, financial statements or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
Maintain and organize client files in accordance with firm standards
Work effectively with all levels of firm leadership to provide quality service to clients
