Requirements

Be pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Have a basic understanding of professional office expectations.
Be proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
Demonstrate a client-first mentality.
Ability to learn quickly and accurately follow process instructions.
Ability to keep up in a fast work environment.
Ability to develop positive and meaningful relationships.
Effective communication with team members and clients.

Nice To Haves

Previous accounting or tax knowledge or coursework.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare individual and business tax returns.
Research tax issues and stay informed about tax law updates.
Perform tax procedures accurately and on time.
Manage time effectively to meet client turnaround expectations.
Provide administrative support to daily operations, including completing the e-sign process, processing client payments, mailing, delivering, and handing out documents, and verifying that opening and closing checklists are complete.
