About The Position

As a Tax Intern at Barnes Dennig, you will gain hands-on experience in tax services, including Business Services & International Tax, Tax Compliance, and Tax Consulting. This internship is designed for students who are curious, ambitious, and eager to apply classroom learning to real client work. You will be paired with a mentor and work with team members to prepare and execute client projects, contributing to the success of not-for-profits and growth-driven companies. The internship emphasizes Barnes Dennig's approach of seeing beyond the numbers, focusing on strategic thinking and putting people first.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Master of Science in Accounting Degree (undergraduate degree in Accounting preferred).
  • An interest in all aspects of Tax and a desire to pursue a career in public accounting by meeting CPA minimum eligibility requirements.
  • Strong academic qualifications.
  • Strong skillset in leadership, customer service, verbal and written communication, and organization.
  • Ability to interact with all levels inside and outside the organization.
  • Ability to take initiative, anticipate problems and formulate resolutions.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and decision-making.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Ability to work independently.
