As a Tax Intern, you will gain insight into the public accounting profession and build a solid foundation for your career. This internship involves working for multiple supervisors on various client engagements, applying accounting knowledge using Firm technology, shadowing Tax professionals, and participating in team building and training initiatives. You will also complete a marketing or research project and attend social functions.
Requirements
- Juniors or seniors enrolled in an accredited accounting or related program, two years from graduation
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above preferred
- Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software programs
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel
- Demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements
- Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology
- Shadow Tax professionals of all levels
- Participate in team building and training initiatives
- Participate in and present on a marketing or research project
- Attend social functions: happy hours, lunches, community service projects and other outings
