The CPA profession is being reshaped by AI. Not in 10 years. In 2026. You can define how AI delivers tax advice, or spend the next few years adapting to rules someone else wrote.

Requirements

Active CPA license, 4+ years of individual tax.
A high volume of 1040s prepared, reviewed, and/or filed.
Equity-compensation depth for private- and public-company employees.
Experience serving clients with $1M to $25M net worth.
Logic-driven, tech-forward, low ego, high agency.

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of business returns (S-corp, partnership, Schedule C).

Responsibilities

Give everyone access to tax advice for the 1%.
Own a full book of HNW / equity-heavy clients end-to-end at NPS 70+.
File accurately and on time across the book. Zero critical errors.
Be the team's go-to equity comp expert.
Ship reusable checklists, templates, and decision-tree specs that the team adopts and the Tax Brain encodes.
Work directly with clients: proactive year-round tax insights, white-glove delivery.
Prepare, review, and file individual returns for HNW households (starting $1M to $25M net worth) plus related business returns.
Own equity-comp planning: ISO/NSO/RSU/ESPP, AMT crossover, 83(b), QSBS, 409A, secondary sales, IPO/liquidity events.
Help build the Tax Brain: break complex decisions into logic an engineer can code; review AI advice and correct it.
Solve edge cases: AMT, wash sales, multi-state allocation, QSBS, pass-through optimization.
