About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to support our Tax Department at our Corporate Office. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Previous administrative experience in an accounting, tax, or corporate office environment preferred.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Self-motivated with strong follow-through skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including filters.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Sort, scan, and distribute incoming mail
  • Mail tax filings, checks, and AP payments
  • Assist with departmental calendars and tracking tools in Excel
  • Assemble financial reporting books
  • Create mailing labels for returns and K-1s
  • File unclaimed property reports
  • Order department supplies
  • Run remote deposit tool
  • Assist with special projects and administrative tasks
  • Occasional trips to local banks (reliable transportation required)
