Tax & Data Analytics Intern
About The Position
The Tax & Data Analytics Intern will support KLA’s Finance organization, which includes Operations and Corporate Finance teams. The role contributes to business priorities through tax research and projects, analysis of financial and operational data, and preparation of reports and workpapers. The intern will also support analytics, automation, process improvement, and reporting-tool development. KLA develops inspection tools, metrology systems, process solutions, and computational analytics for electronics manufacturing. The position is based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, work independently, and collaborate effectively.
- Interest in taxation, data analytics, automation, and technology.
- Requires less than 1 year of related experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with U.S. and international tax research and special projects.
- Analyze and validate financial and operational data used in tax reporting and compliance.
- Prepare Excel-based analyses, reports, presentations, and supporting workpapers.
- Support data analytics, automation, and process improvement initiatives.
- Assist in developing dashboards and reporting tools using Excel, Power BI, or similar technologies.
