About The Position

The Opportunity As a Customs & International Trade - Intern, you will engage in supporting our clients by navigating the complexities of global tax landscapes, optimizing international trade operations, and upholding compliance. Within our Tax practice, you will gain exposure to PwC's methodologies and practices, focusing on learning and contributing to the team's success. As an Intern, you will support teams by participating in projects, performing basic tasks, and conducting research, all while observing professional work environments and developing your personal brand. In this role at PwC, you will have the opportunity to work within the Customs & International Trade services, assisting businesses in managing customs duties, import/export compliance, and trade regulations to optimize global supply chains. You will be encouraged to ask questions, take initiative, and produce quality work that adds value for our clients. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, International Business, Supply Chain
  • At least a 3.0 overall GPA
  • Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

  • Supporting teams in navigating complex customs regulations and optimizing international trade operations
  • Participating in projects focused on managing customs duties and import/export compliance
  • Assisting in the preparation and submission of documentation for customs clearance
  • Conducting research on customs tariffs and valuation to aid in compliance and strategic planning
  • Observing and learning from experienced professionals in the field of international trade and customs
  • Engaging in active listening and asking questions to enhance understanding of customs brokerage processes
  • Contributing to the development of innovative solutions for global supply chain optimization
  • Applying a learning mindset to gain exposure to PwC's practices and methodologies in tax services
