We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Counsel ready to take on complex challenges within a Fortune 50 multinational corporation. You will gain a wide variety of experience, work on dynamic projects and develop value-added tax strategies. Business line and finance managers will look to you for advice regarding major transactions, tax policy trends and tax savings opportunities. Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of tax planning experience
  • Minimum of a J.D.
  • Licensed to practice law in at least one state

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies that align with business objectives through collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Stay updated on tax laws, policies, regulations and industry trends
  • Analyze business operations, transactions and investments and identify potential tax issues, opportunities and risk management strategies associated with global value chains
  • Support tax-related matters associated with mergers, acquisitions and divestments
  • Analyze complex tax issues and recommend practical and strategic solutions
  • Distill recent legislation and regulations into practical guidance for our tax compliance organization to assist our corporation in complying with an ever-changing and complex tax environment
