This role is best suited for a detail-oriented and dependable attorney with 1–3 years of experience who is eager to take a hands-on responsibility in federal and state tax controversy matters. The position supports the firm’s Tax Controversy Practice and plays an integral role in delivering consistent, high-quality client service while reinforcing the firm’s standards for excellence, accountability, and collaboration. On a day-to-day basis, the Tax Controversy Associate works under the direction of the Tax Controversy Partner(s) and Senior Associate(s) and collaborates closely with attorneys across the firm, including Business & Real Estate and Trusts & Estates. The role offers meaningful client interaction, increasing responsibility, and exposure to a wide range of tax controversy matters, including audits, appeals, collections, and litigation. This position is well suited for candidates who value professionalism, teamwork, tenacity, and thoughtful, solutions-driven counsel to clients navigating complex and often stressful tax issues.
