About The Position

Deloitte’s Global Trade Advisory (GTA) practice helps importers and exporters improve trade compliance, increase process efficiency, and identify opportunities across global supply chains. As part of a global network of professionals, the team supports clients in strengthening import and export operations across jurisdictions. In this role, you will support the implementation of global trade technology and trade compliance data and analytics solutions while building client service experience across industries.

Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and expected to graduate by Summer 2027 or have completed a bachelor’s degree or higher in information technology, computer science, economics, engineering, mathematics, political science, international studies, supply chain, transportation/logistics, or statistics
Strong academic track record (3.0 cumulative GPA required)
You must reside within a commutable distance of your assigned office with the ability to commute daily, if required, without the need for overnight accommodations. You can expect to co-locate on average 2-3 times a week with variations based on types of work/projects and client locations
Ability to travel up to 80%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment

Nice To Haves

Advanced degree in information technology, computer science, economics, engineering, mathematics, political science, international studies, supply chain, transportation/logistics, or statistics
Preferred GPA of 3.25 or higher
Data management and analysis experience through coursework, internships, research, or employment
Experience with U.S. and non-U.S. import and export compliance regulations
Experience with SAP ECC 6.0 or SAP S/4HANA in Sales and Distribution, Materials Management, or Transportation Management
Experience with Global Trade Management software such as SAP GTS, Oracle GTM, Integration Point, or Amber Road
Experience with Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Alteryx, Databricks, Jira, or OpenText

Responsibilities

Assess client trade procedures and identify automation opportunities.
Gather business and regulatory requirements and identify gaps in standard system capabilities.
Configure global trade technology solutions that support import and export compliance.
Partner with developers to build, test, document, and deploy system enhancements.
Build data workflows and visualizations, and train client users on implemented solutions.
