Preparation of accurate and timely sales and use tax returns Prepare monthly sales/use tax journal entry, reconciliations and working papers to support the General Ledger tax account balances Assist in determining nexus, identifying filing requirements, and registering to ensure tax compliance in all state and local jurisdictions in the US Respond to state and local tax notices and inquires Research various tax issues Work closely with various corporate and divisional groups and various departments through the company Continuously improve process and productivity Special compliance and audit projects as assigned.
