About The Position

We are currently seeking a full-time Real Estate Tax and Audit Associate to join our team in our Atlanta, GA office. This position will be on-site in our Atlanta office with a start date of January 2027. This role is ideal for someone looking for a firm committed to professional growth and success, with an interest in international tax work and external audit in the real estate area.

Requirements

• 0-1+ years of professional Federal and state income tax or external audit experience, including experience in public accounting
• Experience in preparing partnership and individual tax returns
• BA/BS degree in Accounting or Master’s degree in Accounting/Taxation
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills in English
• Process-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Solid organizational skills with the ability to multitask

Nice To Haves

• CPA license or working toward a similar certification preferred
• Experience in taxation or audits of real estate investments and related projects
• ProSystem fx Engagement and CCH Axcess experience

Responsibilities

• Prepare Federal and state, primarily partnership and individual non-resident income tax returns
• Support senior team members to ensure compliance with tax deadlines
• Perform technical tax research on a variety of Federal and state tax topics
• Perform audit engagements with a concentration on real estate
• Prepare clear, concise workpapers and other communications
• Conduct technical accounting research on a variety of accounting topics
• Participate in staff trainings and stay up-to-date with new audit regulations and tax laws
• Maintain active communication with senior team members and clients in a professional and timely manner
• Manage priorities and provide timely status updates to the team regularly
