As a Tax Associate, you’ll work closely with clients in diverse industries, preparing tax returns, conducting research, and identifying opportunities for tax savings and process improvements. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Accounting or a related field.
Eligibility to work toward CPA licensure
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and tax concepts.
Clear, professional communication skills—both verbal and written.
The ability to manage time and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A mindset that blends accuracy with efficiency, and technical skill with people skills.
Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and nonprofit tax returns for clients, including supporting trial balances.
Assist with tax research, planning, and consulting projects.
Organize and analyze financial data to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Communicate directly with clients to gather information and answer questions in a professional, approachable manner.
Identify potential tax-saving strategies and process improvements.
Stay current on relevant federal, state, and local tax laws.
Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.
