The Tax Analyst will support Wiley’s global tax function by assisting with tax compliance and financial reporting processes. This entry-level role focuses on preparing detailed tax workpapers and supporting schedules for the quarterly and year-end tax provision (ASC 740), as well as federal and state/local income tax compliance. Responsibilities include compiling and validating data for tax filings, preparing book-to-tax differences and account reconciliations, and maintaining well-organized, audit-ready documentation. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams and external advisors, supporting state and local tax processes (including sales tax reporting), and assisting with responses to IRS and state tax notices. You will work closely with cross-functional finance teams to ensure accuracy in our financial statements and SEC filings. The ideal candidate will have strong foundational knowledge of US GAAP and corporate tax laws, with a desire to learn complex international tax concepts. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate seeking to build a strong foundation in corporate taxation within a dynamic, multinational environment.
