The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in tax preparation, compliance, and financial reporting. This role is critical for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations and maintaining compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in tax preparation, accounting, or a related role.
  • Basic knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and tax preparation software (e.g., QuickBooks, TurboTax) is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
  • Knowledge of international tax laws and regulations.
  • Familiarity with auditing processes and procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and filing federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulations, and deadlines under supervision.
  • Support tax research to identify potential tax savings and optimize tax strategies.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Support the management and reconciliation of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Assist in coordinating with external auditors and tax authorities as needed.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to support compliance efforts.
  • Provide support to internal teams on tax-related matters under guidance.
