About The Position

Medpace is seeking a Tax Analyst to assist in the preparation of US, State & Foreign Accounting for Income Taxes (ASC 740). This role involves gathering supporting documents for tax returns and audits, supporting tax planning initiatives, researching tax legislation, and ensuring compliance with SOX controls for the tax department. The Tax Analyst may also be responsible for other assigned projects.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 2+ years tax experience.
Must be able to collaborate in a team environment.
Demonstrate ability to present relevant information and facilitate a meeting.
Excellent analytical skills with high levels of accuracy.
Excellent theoretical and practical grasp of tax and other regulatory principles and how they apply to the business.
Excellent organization and time management skills.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of ONESOURCE Income Tax is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparation of US, State & Foreign Accounting for Income Taxes (ASC 740). This includes assisting in the preparation of numerous book vs. tax differences.
Gather supporting documents to prepare the Medpace Federal, State & Local income tax returns.
Assist in gathering supporting documents for Federal, State & International audits by tax authorities.
Assist Tax Manager/Director on various tax planning initiatives.
Research changes in tax legislation and its potential impact to Medpace.
Assist in compliance with SOX controls for the tax department.
May be responsible for other projects and responsibilities as assigned.
