Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (Accounting, Tax, etc.)
  • 2 or more years of corporate income tax or public accounting experience, preferably with a publicly traded company or national/regional firm
  • Skills with MS Excel and Word required
  • Demonstrated understanding of financial processes and systems
  • Ability to plan work for self and coordinate with others to meet multiple deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred
  • OneSource software experience preferred
  • advanced Excel skills preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assisting with preparation of the company’s consolidated corporate federal income tax , including U.S. international, and state income/franchise tax compliance functions.
  • Responsible for preparing estimated and extension income tax payment calculations and the timely filing of the related forms, vouchers, and electronic funds transfers.
  • Assists in the compilation of research and analysis related to complex tax issues reflected on the company’s federal and state income tax returns (tax accounting issues, nexus issues, unitary/combined filing issues, etc.)
  • Responsible for preparation of the accounting for income/franchise taxes, including tax provision preparation and tax account analysis and reconciliation for U.S. federal & state, and outside-of-U.S. corporate income taxes.
  • Participates in other related tax projects as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
